Michael H. Fox

Michael H. Fox, Ph.D., is an emeritus professor at Colorado State University in the Department of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences. He grew up on a farm in Kansas, joined the Peace Corps and went to Bolivia for two years after graduating from McPherson College. He taught physics and played in the Bolivian National Symphony. He returned to Kansas to get his PhD in physics at Kansas State University. He taught classes for nearly 35 years at Colorado State University and did research on radiation biology and cell and molecular biology. He started the graduate program in Cell and Molecular Biology and directed it for 15 years. He built a cabin in the mountains and loves to get away to fish and hike and enjoy nature.
