Sally Petersen

I've climbed two mountains, reared three interesting girls, written four books.

A former journalist, columnist and award-winning essayist, I now write memoir in the form of short essays, observations, stories and an as yet unpublished longer book.

Over the years, my work has appeared in newspapers, magazines, and corporate publications. I've published a limited-edition book, a chapbook, and three volumes available through Amazon. Tea Pie, Love and Reality, was a finalist in the ForeWord Book of the Year awards and earned an honorable mention in the Beach Book awards in its year of publication. Since then I've written I May Never Get to Petra and How Much Is Enough? The new book, Enough, is an exploration of the questions arising from gaining in years and experience.

Before turning to full-time writing, I ran a one-person business, The Write Touch. I used this successful experience to create workshops, then wrote The Real American Dream, a personal blend of coaching and business insights. The book is out of print but still available through third-party sellers.

My husband, Jim, also is a writer. He and I have published six books, available in print and e-editions. You can see more at www.petersenpublications.com
