In Memoir she describes the stages of her journey through grief and loss to renewal. Her experiences have the power to guide and inform our lives as we care for aging loved ones - parents, spouse, friend, or colleague. Her story assures us we're all connected in our need to share our sorrow and find comfort in that sharing.
Claudia is also a speaker and facilitator. She develops training programs and interactive workshops for hospice palliative care and bereavement support professionals, volunteers and students. She co-authored an article for the Canadian Medical Association Journal, Conversations on Dying: giving a family member the last word (March 2012). She is regularly invited to speak to medical students in Palliative Medicine.
