Patrick Thomas

Patrick Thomas is the author of two novels, Shadows of Evil--the vampires among us, and Earth Rise; and two non fiction, The Right to Bear Arms and the wisdom of doing so; and A Clear and Present Danger--a matter of personal freedom and economic prosperity.

His latest work, A Clear and Present Danger, is an analysis of the current sorry state of the United States Federal Government (and some state governments) and what actions are needed to recover, from the point of view of a concerned U. S. citizen of 78 years who is neither a politician nor a celebrity.

Patrick Thomas was born in California and grew up in Massachusetts, North Carolina, Missouri, California, Wyoming, British Columbia, and celebrated his 13th birthday living in a construction camp in Kajakai, Afghanistan.

When not growing up or working in construction camps, he grew up or worked in farming.

After graduating from the University of California with a BA degree in Economics and Political Science, he worked in several industries.

On the side, he served 3 years as a reserve deputy with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, and 5 years with the California National Guard as a Tank Commander and Platoon Sergeant.

After almost 50 years in industry, he retired with his wife of 40 years to northeastern Nevada to use his more than 20 years experience as a technical writer and more than 50 years as a horseman to "train horses and write books."
