Julie Dawson

Julie Dawson and her husband, Peter, have traveled extensively and intensively throughout the world. As a professional watercolor artist, photographer, writer and speaker since 1973, she uses what she sees and learns from her travels in her work, For more than 15 years, Julie has photographed bells. She is fascinated by their myriad locations and uses in every culture throughout history.

Julie has had 87 one women exhibitions of her watercolors. Her work appears in public and private collections world wide.

She has written "Seeing the World through the Heart of its Bells", a collection of photographs and stories of bells and how they were used and her happy adventures in finding them.

Julie has also written four children's books featuring the Sillybillies. The Sillybillies are whimsical, imaginary children who have fun and silly adventures.

She resides in Birmingham, Michigan.
