Gerda Smorra

Gerda Smorra has been a teacher for 40 years,with drama-, dance- and music projects every year. She has always been an author, too, writing plays, musicals,poems. One of her plays ("Irrfahrten- Auf den Spuren des Odysseus")won a literature prize,(Münsteraner Autorenpreis für Jugendtheater)in 1993 (10000DM and professional performance).

In 2010 she found a box in the attic with over 1000 letters of her unknown father,more than 500 photos, taken by him, and his calendars from 1941-1944. She read and read and knew: she had to get to know him - and began writing her first biographical book...("Mein lieber Matz....")
