Brigid Coady is the author of three novels published by HarperCollins imprints. The first, NO ONE WANTS TO BE MISS HAVISHAM (One More Chapter) won the RNA’s Joan Hessayon Award for New Writers in 2015. She has gone onto publish PERSUADING AUSTEN (HQ Digital) and EMMA EVER AFTER (HQ Digital). She has also written and had published a number of short stories.
Brigid was born in the UK but raised round the world with most of her childhood spent reading. Brigid works for a consultancy firm to the pharma industry as the Head of the Programme Management team and also advises on storytelling techniques. Much of her writing is done in the evenings while trying to stop her cat, Bella B from stepping on the keyboard and deleting everything. In the past, she has been the official Writer in Residence on the 06:37 train from London Victoria to Canterbury West.
Brigid is also a voice-over artist, loves music and has had her own country music radio show. Brigid’s obsession with One Direction and their solo careers is perfectly healthy, no matter what anyone else says. She lives in London.
