Kathryn Nedved Hoffman grew up in Wisconsin. At the age of 18, she moved to California to follow her dreams as a model. From there she moved to NJ where she had a successful career until she decided to open her own agency. Thirteen years later, she sold her 3 successful agencies so she could reinvent herself. Since that time, she has designed and patented a product, started several additional successful businesses, married, divorced, started a food pantry that is still operating today, and then in the fall of 2010 became ill with Lyme disease. Her 2 1/2 year battle to heal and recoup left her feeling the need to research this debilitating disease. After interviewing over 80 Lyme Patients and Specialists, she knew that she was sitting on information that needed to be released to the public.
So to get the information out, she decided to write her first book: Lyme disease...What Your Doctor Doesn't Know Could Kill You. Although she has recovered to what she calls the new "normal" for life with Lyme disease, she continues to research and learn about the most current remedies and medicines to help other patients get back to living life again. She enjoys her research and looks forward to bringing her information to the Lyme community.
