My writing career began when I needed to post blogs for the printing brokerage company I founded and operated. The blogs I created explained how various printing machines worked. And how the products such as decals, labels, and banners manufactured with these printing machines. This type of composing did not employ store lines, or character dialog.

The desire to write a fictional account of current events, began with a self-imposed challenge. The task was to compose a twenty-page short story to include a story line with characters and dialog.

When I completed the twenty-page trial. A friend who taught creative writing at a local university read what I authored and said, “This is good writing.” He then urged me to continue writing.

The book, Six Points of Steel, drawn from several historical events as well as the author’s life experiences and imagination. The first book of a saga that will unfold across three books, this story explores the way dedication to a cause can become a path to destruction, or to redemption.
