F.M. Longo

F.M. Longo, originally from the historic little coastal town of Stratford, CT, now lives in the northwest corner of the state, deep in the rolling Litchfield Hills. After retiring from the finance industry in 2001, where he designed computer systems and managed software projects, he traded his blue pin-striped suits for chef's whites, running the kitchen in several high-end resorts, and became general manager for a prestigious restaurant in Waterbury, CT. Now fully retired, he fell back on some of his other skills, and works with several non-profit groups in his area, assisting them on their publicity and advertising efforts.

Longo has over 120 published non-fiction articles, has been the editor for a couple of trade magazines, and recently turned to fiction, mostly writing short stories.
