MARILYN GOTTLIEB (MFA, 2012)

Marilyn Gottlieb, who has published widely in magazines and literary journals, began her writing career as a columnist for Dan’s Papers on Long Island, New York. President of The Crescendo Group, a small full-service public relations firm, she was a VP and SVP at two multi-billion dollar international advertising agencies. Inducted into the YWCA’s prestigious Academy of Women Achievers, she also was a member of the Board of Advertising Women of New York. She taught Public Relations at The New School for 18 years. She attended Skidmore College and earned an MA from New York University and an MFA in Writing and Literature from Stony Brook Southampton. Her first book was the adult version of Life with an Accent (2013). Her first novel is Dance me Younger (2016). The young adult edition of Life with an Accent was published in February 2016 in English and will be published in Hebrew in Israel in the spring of 2016.
