Kristin Anderson utilized her blessed life in California, her deep concern for the environment and her love of romance to come up with her eco-romance novel, Green. This first novel is an opposites-attract romance that tackles some of life’s grander questions: can an individual make a difference when it comes to the problems facing the environment? Can we still keep our ideals and fall in love?
Speaking of falling in love, Kristin fell for a Dutch man, married him and eventually left beautiful California to move to the Netherlands. It was during those long, dark, Dutch winter nights that she started writing her novels.
Her newfound ability to travel throughout Europe inspired her second novel, The Things We Said in Venice. This travel-romance explores second-chance romance, mature love (mid-thirties/ early-forties romance), and of course amorous Italy.
Exposure to art, architecture and environmental issues have all played out in her writing.
She is currently following a year long writing program through Jericho Writers where she is working on her third novel. Romance will be playing second fiddle in her latest novel and climate change and paranormal magic will take center stage. She keeps a blog and Facebook page and would love to hear from you.
