Patrick Mayfield (1951-) works and lives near Oxford, UK, mostly working as an author, speaker and coach. He was co-author of 'Managing Successful Programmes' (2007) which was praised as a major step forward in leading transformational change. He also was a contributing author to a major work on Change Management.
In 2013 he self-published, 'Practical People Engagement: Leading Change through the Power of Relationships', which became the core reference for a global qualification in Stakeholder Engagement. He wrote this from a conviction that people were the oft-neglected part of project and programme management. People were, in fact, invariable the reason for resistance or the solutions to breakthrough on projects.
He later published 'Leading Yourself: Succeeding from the Inside Out,' where self efficacy, as psychologists call is, becomes the key to optimal living and personal organisation.
In 2019, Patrick published his first faith book on meditation by journaling, called 'Writing with God,' which became even more relevant to him and others during the experience of the pandemic and lockdown.
