Anne Horjus

Dutch artist Anne Horjus grew up in the Northern part of the Netherlands, know as Friesland. In 2003 he (Anne, a Friesian boys’ name) and his family moved to Baraboo, Wisconsin. Besides having illustrated children’s books in the Netherlands, Belgium and the United States, he is a published author, storyteller, puppet maker, woodcarver, singer and public speaker. Passionate about sharingthe arts in all forms, he often combines his artistic skills to create unique, multifaceted performances. As a part-time library program coordinator he writes for the Collaborative Summer Library Program Manual, used by public libraries in 44 states.
