Business

Andy has worked in the computer software industry, right out of college in Virginia, for now over 21 years starting with a decade long career at Microsoft. At age twenty-two Andy recalls being on stage with Steve Ballmer, Microsoft CEO, in NYC speaking to over 1200 resellers about the value of building a partner business. Andy is often quoted suggesting, "All I ever needed to know I learned at Microsoft." His discussions with Bill Gates were memorable as with Robert McDowell, founder of Microsoft Consulting Services, who serves as a friend and mentor to this day.

With interest in the global trade markets Andy became a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch and later began his own private practice. His passions lead to real estate where he joined a team in Arizona that developed large ranch properties as well as smaller parcels. As a wine lover one of his favorite projects was a winery and bed & breakfast in Paso Robles, CA.
