Kathleen Hering

Kathleen Hering is the author of the light-hearted Designer Mystery series which includes novels "Hammered, Nailed and Screwed," and "Ripped, Stripped and Flipped," and "Studs, Tools and Fools."

Her new Quirky Mystery series debuts with "Can I Kill Him Now?" -- a light mystery with a theme of divorce, friendship, and mayhem. In keeping with tradition, this series is also set in Ms. Hering's home state of Oregon.

The sense of humor that trickles through her writing helped the author survive her earlier career as a middle school principal. Her hobbies include cycling, home decorating and gardening. She has a mean tennis backhand, but, alas, no serve.
