Tim Easley

Raised with a love of reading from an early age, Tim Easley grew up on R.L. Stine before graduating to such authors as Bret Easton Ellis, Cormac McCarthy, and Mario Puzo in his teenage/adult years. He didn't know that he wanted to write until he was about fourteen years old and read "The Rules of Attraction" for the first time. Struck by the emotional connection he felt to the words of Ellis and other selected works, he knew that this was probably what he wanted to do with his life.

It took several years and numerous scrapped ideas before he took his first stab at writing a novel for real. The end result was a paperweight, but he had completed it with the knowledge that being a novelist was possible. Three days after finishing his first novel, the author survived an accident that could of and should of killed him.

Shaken by the realization of his own mortatility, and driven to actually publish, the author prepared to try again. Several months later, he finished the first draft of what would become his first published novel "Tranquility."

Tim Easley lives in Virginia, working on his next book (hopefully). He hasn't found the success he has envisioned for yet, but he is trying to reach for it. And that, is more than most people do in life.
