Melinda Carol Robertson, was born on a blustery April afternoon in Charlottesville,Va. She was born in Thomas Jefferson's hometown, in Thomas Jefferson Hospital on Thomas Jefferson's birthday. She is a member of the International Society of Poets and three of her poems won Editors Choice Awards. She has been nominated for Poet of the Year and has several published poems.

For a year she lived in the German Alps and traveled to Holland, Monte Carlo, Nice, Eperney Valley, Paris, the Austrian Alps, Italy, Belgium and the Swiss Alps. She has also had many other adventures in Mexico, The Bahamas, Key West, Rhode Island, Cape May, N.J., Florida, North Carolina, Georgia and South Carolina Beaches. She has drank from the vineyards of Napa Valley and hiked in the Rockies and on the Appalachian Trail and Canada. Her family, reading, gardening, cooking, writing poems and books are contributions to her happiness and future dreams are to make a movie from her novel. The cover of her book was designed and painted by her daughter, Megan Robertson.
