Chris Westbury

I am the author of the novel 'The Bride Stripped Bare By Her Bachelors, Even' (named after a famous sculpture by French artist Marcel Duchamp), published by CounterPoint Press in June, 2014.

I'm also a Canadian cognitive neuropsychologist, educated at McGill University and the Montreal Neurological Institute in Montreal. I study the functional structure of language processing and its neurological underpinnings at the Department of Psychology at the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Canada. I co-edited a volume on methodological advances in lexical research with Gary Libben and Gonia Jarema, which is also available on Amazon.

I created and maintain JanusNode, a user-configurable dynamic textual projection surface that is available for free for Mac and Windows from http://www.janusnode.com. JanusNode has its own author's page on Amazon, because it published its own book (I'd say: self-published, except that I had to do all the grunt work), the brilliantly-titled 'You Can Take An Elephant To A Broadway Show But You Cannot Make It Drink Chablis: 365 Computer-generated Reasons To Converse'. Don't necessarily trust the first (and probably still only) review: JanusNode reviewed its own book.
