A. Ravi Shankar is a media professional, storyteller and educator with over three decades of experience in television journalism and broadcast training. He has worked as a journalist and producer of news and current affairs programmes, and has taught television journalism at the post-graduate level, mentoring young professionals in reporting, production and storytelling.
He has conducted workshops for professionals in India and abroad, including for Indian Information Service officers at the Film & Television Institute of India and media professionals in Myanmar and the Maldives. He has also worked with organisations such as the BBC, CNBC and TV Today Network.
Ravi holds an MPhil in Journalism and Mass Communication and a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Cardiff, UK. His work now extends into long-form storytelling, including fiction.
