Brent Bogan

Brent Bogan is the founder of the critically-acclaimed, professional development company, Unconventional Teaching (www.UnconventionalTeaching.com). Unconventional Teaching workshops specialize in topics such as classroom management, assessment strategies, the flipped classroom/education technology, and creating entertaining and memorable lessons for students.

Bogan is native to the small farming community of Sabina, Ohio. Brent currently resides with his wife and son in Tennessee. Bogan attended Middle Tennessee State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geosciences, a Master of Education Degree in Administration & Supervision, and an Education Specialist Degree with an emphasis in Curriculum & Instruction. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, spending time with his family, and traveling.

Bogan started his career in education at Riverdale High School in Tennessee, where he taught a wide variety of subjects, served as the department chair of social studies, and as a dean of students. Currently, Brent Bogan serves as the vice-principal of a high achieving elementary school. Bogan continues to focus his efforts on creating innovative and engaging teaching techniques that will help students learn and achieve their full academic potential.
