She studied abroad for a semester during college in the Tuscany region of Florence, Italy, as well as traveling all over Europe, to Argentina, central America, and the Caribbean, just to name a few. All of these experiences have shaped Sarah-Jane’s approach to food and healthy eating and inspired her to become a self-taught foodie and to experiment in the kitchen, where she fuses the Southern food of her roots with the healthy knowledge from her profession. In her free time, Sarah-Jane enjoys going for long runs (she's completed 4 marathons!), cooking meals with her husband Joe, and walking her two dogs, Inky and Buddy.
