Jean Humburg

Jean Humburg lives in a small town in the Sierra Foothills. She is the author of two books, "Honk if You Like Canada Geese," and "Honk Again," humorous essays on coping with life in general. "Tarpaper Dreams" is her newest book, a true story of first generation immigrant experience and homesteading days of early Brooklyn; family life; prewar and WWII.

She was a columnist for the local paper and for many years conducted a writer's workshop. She has dabbled in all that is creative, enjoying life to the fullest.
