David Dietrich

David M. Dietrich, Ph.D. is an Additive Manufacturing Design Engineering Fellow for Honeywell Aerospace. In this role, he designs products using emerging manufacturing technologies that transitions to aerospace production. In addition, he taught as adjunct faculty member for the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, Missouri University of Science and Technology and Maryville University-St. Louis. He has more than 15 years of manufacturing industry experience that includes both production and research in the areas of Additive Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, Six Sigma, Lean Production and Engineering Design.

Dr. Dietrich earned his Ph.D. in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology. His dissertation research aligned with the development of emerging technology supply chains within aerospace. He also holds a Master of Manufacturing Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. In addition, he holds a Master of Business Administration from Maryville University of St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science from Murray State University. David has obtained seven United States registered patents with three patent applications pending. In 2011, he was awarded the Society of Manufacturing Engineer's Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer award.
