At age 10, I sat at our old Royal typewriter making up “Joan and Jerry” stories. It took forever to type them, and then I’d throw them away, too embarrassed for anyone to read them. Now I have a Christian suspense novel I want everyone to read, “The Will of the Enemy.” You could consider it historical fiction, if the 1980s and ‘90s count as history.
I spend much of my time at my computer. Writing this novel was a reprieve from my “other” writing and editing. On a normal day, I’m writing or editing articles for trade publications that go to chefs and/or culinary students. That’s exciting on its own, and now when you read my book, you’ll understand why my main character’s hobbies are writing and cooking.
