JB Zito

Jack Benjamin Zito was born in the Boston Naval Hospital when his father was fighting in WWII. He graduated from The University of Miami, and received his Ph.D. in Mathematics/Education in 2000. He was the recipient of a Vice Presidential scholarship in 1963, and a Presidential commendation letter for outstanding achievement in 2000. He was teacher of the the year in three different schools. In music, he has played trombone and piano with many famous musicians. He now plays many solo gigs for weddings and events. His book, The Sicilian Experience of Mr Benny, is his first novel. He is retired from teaching. He wrote a musical called 'Klondike Karakters' , performed at the Burt Reynolds Back Stage theater in Jupiter Florida. Proceeds from the musical were donated to The Benjamin School in North Palm Beach, Florida. He has coached football, basketball, and track in several different schools. He had three undefeated seasons in three different sports and his teams won several championships, both local,state, and nationally. His most recent book may be found on Amazon (Kindle).
