Kurt Neddenriep

Kurt Neddenriep is a lifelong Nevadan who, in addition to his career as a Senior Vice President at a prominent Wall Street investment firm, also served 23 years in the Nevada Army National Guard, retiring in February 2013 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Most recently he was assigned as the commander of the 1-221st Armored Reconnaissance Squadron. Neddenriep enlisted in the Nevada Army National Guard in February of 1990 and was commissioned a second lieutenant of Armor upon completion of the University of Nevada, Reno ROTC program in May of 1994. He served as the Executive Officer of 1-221st Armored Reconnaissance Squadron during their mobilization to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2009-2010. His military decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal and the Army Combat Action Badge.

Neddenriep is an active participant in his local community, serving as both a member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Elko, a member of the Board Emeritus and Past President of the Boys and Girls Club of Elko and is a Paul Harris Fellow with Rotary International. He has served multiple terms on the boards of the Great Basin College Foundation and the Elko Chamber of Commerce. In 2009 he was selected as one of the ‘Twenty Under 40” by the Reno-Tahoe Young Professionals Network.

After graduating from Bishop Manogue Catholic High School he earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a minor in Economics from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1994. He completed the Senior Investment Consultants Program at the Wharton School of Business in 2006 and is a Certified Investment Management AnalystSM (CIMA®) charter holder with the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA). Neddenriep and his wife Katherine live in Lamoille, Nevada with a second home in Reno, Nevada.
