Maria Carvalho

Maria Carvalho’s love for words has always been as fervent as her fear of math. Her multi-genre short fiction has appeared in over thirty anthologies, including several titles in the Owl Hollow Press Anthology Series, and in an array of literary magazines such as Roi Fainéant Press, MetaStellar, SciFanSat, 101 Words, and Free Flash Fiction. Maria’s poetry is featured in several #1 best-selling books from Literary Revelations Publishing House, where she is the writer in residence. Her popular children's book "Hamster in Space!" was praised by Kirkus Reviews for its "sharp understanding of kids' wacky sense of humor"—a testament to the fact that she’s still a kid at heart.
