Sherry Kay Thompson

Sherry loves to read and has always loved writing. She has two beautiful daughters and two grandsons Caleb and Finn. She lives in Florida with her rescue dog Rhett Butler and runs an Airbnb vacation rental. She has taken teams to Costa Rica, Greece and Italy with her former sports travel business Victory Lap Tours. Her daughter Shawndra Russell is also a writer. She wrote the book Couple Friends in 2012 and in 2014 she wrote 51 Ways to Help Your Social Media Crush It!! Shawndra has also written other books and all are for sale on Amazon.

Her daughter Jessie's oldest son Caleb is in the photo on the book's cover. Jen Arney took the photos in pink for Sherry's shoot for Painted Lady magazine's article on breast cancer in the Sept/Oct 2013 issue. Constance Payne inked Sherry's Tattoo's over her cancer scars and also wrote the article about her for Painted Lady Magazine.

She recently released a 2nd version of her book under a new title with a completely new cover. The title of the book is I Love My Boobies: My Journey Through Breast Cancer. The cover has a picture of Sherry's breast cancer tattoos and the back also has a picture of her butterfly tattoo and a picture from her Painted Lady breast cancer photo-shoot. Sherry and her daughter Shawndra explored Galapagos Islands in 2017 and she is always planning a new travel adventure.
