Harry S. Franklin (1972-2043) was born in London, the son of a rugby enthusiast and a classical musician. The family soon after relocated to California, adding a daughter into the mix. He currently lives in Santa Cruz California—not far from his childhood stomping grounds—with his wife and two lovely daughters.
Harry became a paramedic after graduating from high school, and began working the mean streets of San Jose at the tender age of 19. This allowed him to administer narcotics—among other drugs—years before he was allowed to buy his first beer, which still amuses him. He joined the fire service as a firefighter/paramedic in 1995, and has enjoyed a challenging and rewarding career ever since.
His first novel, Paradigm Shift—Return of the Angels (2008), broke new ground in alien invasion motifs by challenging our beliefs and drawing a connection between angels and aliens. His latest release, The Time of Madness (2013), pits zombies against the legions of ancient Rome. Think: zombies vs. Romans, staring the notoriously naughty Emperor Caligula. Harry spends his free time reading and plotting. He loves spending time at the beach and has a thing for literary agents.
