He's an American educator, author, psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, career coach/life coach, professional percussionist, and retired from the United States Air Force as a First Sergeant. He has spent more than five decades teaching, counseling, performing, writing, and serving in both military and civilian leadership roles. Glenn Druhot is a lifelong musician and has over 60 years of percussion experience and has taught more than 27,000 drum lessons. And has played in a wide variety of musical settings.

Was a high school percussion instructor for several high school bands in the San Antonio, Texas area, and was a on-field percussion judge for competitions.
While being a co-owner of The Percussion Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana he, along with his colleagues, built custom drum kits and percussion equipment, for national touring drummers. The best-known drummers were: renowned drummer Neil Peart of Rush, Ron Morganstein, "Wild" Mick Brown, Eric Carr, Billy Cobham, and Kenny Aronoff.

Throughout his career, Dr. Glenn A. Druhot has served as a percussion clinician for school bands, drumlines, churches, community ensembles, drum circles, and other music organizations. His clinics have focused on percussion technique, ensemble performance, marching percussion, musical interpretation, and percussion pedagogy. He has instructed students ranging from beginning musicians to advanced performers while mentoring band directors and percussion instructors.

Glenn earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 1968 as a member of Boy Scout Troop 8 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, later earning two Eagle Palms. The values of leadership, service, integrity, and perseverance that he developed through Scouting became defining characteristics throughout his military, academic, counseling, and community service careers.
