After a four-year music degree, and 10 years in the right-brained music profession, Liesel took an enormous leap of faith. She resigned from a stable job, took a 4 month programming course and stepped into the left-brained world of computer programming for another 10 years.
She had been interested in healing for a very long time and previously (erroneously) believed that one had to be born with a very special gift to be a healing practitioner. One day she stumbled on a link to the Quantum-Touch website and was immediately interested. She attended a workshop in South Africa in October 2005 and became one of the first Quantum-Touch Instructors in South Africa.
She then started working with clients and discovered how many physical ailments have their origin in unresolved emotions and traumatic events from the past. She therefore studied many methods and techniques to resolve those past events, like EFT, Matrix Reimprinting, The Sedona Method, PSYCH-K, Gallup Strengtshfinder and others.
Her first book, "No Problem. The Upside of Saying No" was published in May 2013, and it's a handbook for those who take on too much and are always last in their own queue. As a bonus "thank you" to readers, it includes a free E-course to help readers implement the information in practical small steps. Her second book, "Coping with a Dying Pet", was written throughout the difficult journey of her dog, Jack's, ill-health and passing. It includes chapters from other authors who share tips and stories for animal-lovers in difficult times.
Liesel currently works with women who want to make a mindful transition to a meaningful career that feels purposeful and brings them joy. She hosts a podcast "Mindful Career Transitions" - that can be found on Stitcher and iTunes.
She lives with her supportive husband and adorable cat, where she continues to find countless opportunities to learn and grow.
