William Penberthy

William Penberthy is a highly skilled technical strategist and tactician that brings a breadth of real-world business acumen into his technology-based endeavors. His focus is on the use of software to solve business problems, and his ability to understand both the business domain and the technology domain gives him a unique perspective on problem-solving. He currently lives in London and works at Moonpig as a Business Solutions Architect.

Previously living in Seattle, WA, William has participated in the development of more than 130 different applications ranging from record retention management software, to e-Commerce storefronts, to geographic information systems-based applications, to point-of-sales systems; with lots of other stuff in between. He has presented at multiple conferences and user groups, generally on software architecture, but sometimes dropping into deeper technical areas including .NET, databases, and cloud computing.
