P.R. (Piper) Newton is a mother, wife, Whovian, lover of animals and stripey socks, oh and she likes to write stories. Throughout her life she has been fascinated by the human mind. She has a Psychology degree, and for many years worked as a communications manager. Once children came stampeding into her life, she left her high pressure career in order to maintain a healthy life balance. She still has a passion for learning and the human mind. When she isn't busy raising her boys and writing stories, she takes courses in childhood trauma and mental health. She is very passionate about education, adoption, and childhood mental health.
