Joe Gonzalez

Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, Joe moved to Philadelphia with his parents at a very young age. When he was 14 the whole family moved back to the Island, thus developing his bilingual love for literature and the arts. He graduated from Charter Oak State College of Connecticut with a B.S. in English Education and Creative Writing.

His professional life has been as varied as his creative one; Joe worked as an English teacher and later as Quality Control Manager, while he pursued his dream as a musician/songwriter in several rock bands. Joe lives in the metropolitan area of Puerto Rico just west of Old San Juan where he continues to write songs along with stories in his two languages. His favorite activities are reading fiction and non-fiction, tooling around on his Harley Davidsons, SCUBA diving on occasion, and taking care of his dogs.
