She is the bestselling author of, "Get It Done: From Procrastination to Creative Genius in 15 Minutes a Day," which Seth Godin called, "an instant classic, essential reading for anyone who wants to make a ruckus."

Her second book, "Start Right Where You Are: How Little Changes Can Make a Big Difference for Overwhelmed Procrastinators, Frustrated Overachievers and Recovering Perfectionists" (New World Library) was also a big hit.

Her latest book, ""The 15-Minute Method: The Surprisingly Simple Art of Getting It Done" (New World Library) introduces the idea that you can escape overwhelm by spending just 15 minutes a day on something that matters to you. After all, productivity is not about getting more done. It's about getting more of what matters done, yes?

She is also the author of the surprisingly popular book of poems, “By The Way, You Look Really Great Today,” and the daily inspirational book, “365 Reasons To Write,” as well as the book of unusual advice for entrepreneurs, ""Less Crazy, More Money: 52 Secrets to Running a Serene, Profitable Business." She wrote the book for the successful musical, "In a Booth at Chasen's."

Still a working actor, Bennett started her career at the world-famous Second City Theatre and moved to Los Angeles in 1994. She’s worked with many of Los Angeles’ premier theatre companies, including The Open Fist Theatre Company, LA TheatreWorks, and ComedySportz. She also has extensive television and film credits.
