Social media played an important role in Micheal Savoie's life in 2008 when he worked closely with Best Selling Author, Ken McArthur and his Impact Action Team to get the word out about SpeakUpSaveLives.org to help prevent teen suicides. During that period, Micheal's social media presence grew, and with it, his marketing abilities. By the end of 2008, Micheal was able to walk away from a career in retail and work for himself in online marketing. Since then, Micheal has focused on blogging and social media marketing. He hosts The Blogging With Micheal Show on Tuesdays at 11AM Eastern to discuss online marketing trends and interview some of the movers and shakers in the business. The Social Net Effect came about when he attended a marketing event in Las Vegas and found that people spent more time connecting via social media during that event than actually listening to the speakers. Social media marketing quickly became his favorite way to help clients grow their presence online. Micheal now uses social media marketing as a way to continue growing his listener base for his show and his readership for his blogs.
