Ruti Yudovich

Ruti Yudovich is an experienced Hebrew educator who has spent more than 40 years teaching in Israel and the United States. A graduate of Ben‑Gurion University of the Negev, she has helped students of all ages master modern and biblical Hebrew through a gradual, confidence‑building approach.

A prolific writer, Ruti has authored 15 non‑fiction books that guide learners step‑by‑step from the basics of reading to conversational fluency. Her series include Speak Hebrew for Real, Learn How to Read Hebrew for Real, Hebrew Binyanim Made Easy and Hebrew When to Say What? Stories in Easy Hebrew and more. Each book is designed to take the confusion and frustration out of learning the Hebrew language. Many of her books are also available as audio books and ebooks

Ruti offers free audio excerpts on her website, so readers can hear authentic pronunciation and practice along with the lessons.

In addition to her language‑learning guides, Ruti has written a memoir, I Hate to Say Goodbye, which has also been translated into Hebrew. She is currently revising her historical novel The Jewish Gypsy, a gripping story of a Romani teenager whose life is upended when she is sent to a concentration camp during World War II.
