Blanche R. Dudley

Blanche R. Dudley, Ed.D., is the author of several children’s picture books on kindness and anti-bullying for younger readers, including BUMBLE’S SURPRISE: THE GIFT OF KINDNESS; SIGGY AND THE BULLIES; and SIGGY’S PARADE. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, a former educator, and 1985 West Virginia Teacher of the Year. Dr. Dudley spends lots of time birdwatching in her backyard where she finds inspiration for her picture book characters.
