Richard R. Smith

For the past 30 years, Professor Rick Smith has worked with many of the world's leading businesses through his consulting and research. After retiring from Accenture, where he held a number of senior executive roles, he aligned his research, consulting, and teaching interests in fields of Business Strategy and Human Capital in Asia. He teaches at Singapore Management University on the topics Human Capital Strategy, Leading Organisations, and Talent and Innovation. His recent research on cross border leadership provided significant media attention in Asia where he has been featured as guest on CNBC’s ‘Squawk box’ and ‘Talk Asia.’ In addition, Rick serves as a board member of ICEDR and is a frequent guest speaker on the "People-Side of Business."
