I have been blessed to be in the ministry for over a decade now. Before that I was in the navy and worked for a law firm helping people escape the clutches of the IRS. My educational background is history, sociology and law before settling in to gain my Masters of Arts in Religion in Bible and my Doctorate in Ministry.

There, a single paragraph that spans 25 years of my life. All through this journey my wife Jules has been beside me and has blessed me with 3 great kids and a really cool kid in law. At the same time we have survived living as missionaries in the US, kidney disease, South Texas, cancer, asthma and church politics - mostly. What I have learned along the way is that living for and knowing Jesus makes the rest seem pretty irrelevant while at the same time giving it all a deep and rich meaning.

"Walk This Way" is my first book and it took me over six years to write and rewrite it till I felt comfortable in sharing it with you. As you read it I hope you see that it is a very personal work and hopefully you find that of value as you also try to follow Christ.

Currently I am working on a book on the parables of Jesus which is titled "Tell Me A Story." In the meantime I read, lots of books with a broad interest - history, Bible, church growth, genetics, atheism/theism, philosophy, and a good healthy dose of Discworld to keep me balanced.
