Cathy Le Feuvre

Cathy Le Feuvre is a British writer, broadcaster, journalist and media consultant who, after years of slogging it out in newsrooms and press offices, has finally done what she always promised she would do one day - become a 'published author'.

Latest book:

'The Gift of Kindness' is published in summer 2022 by Authentic Media, and is co-written with Debbie Duncan, who herself is a prolific author. The book was partly inspired by what appeared to be the rise of kindness during the COVID19 pandemic in

2020 and explores kindness from a spiritual/Christian, scientific, historic, literary and many other aspects, encouraging us all to become kinder in our living, thinking and being. Raised in Jersey, England and Kenya, Cathy worked her way up through local newspapers, BBC local radio and regional television in Jersey as reporter/presenter/producer before moving to the UK 20-odd years ago.

From BBC local TV presenter and journalist she moved into production and became a national ITV producer, before finally finding herself working in Media and Communications, specialising in PR for charity and church organisations/agencies. She spent 7 years in the media office of The Salvation Army UK and Ireland, 5 of them as Head of Media.

In 2011 she took a deep breath and returned to freelancing to allow her more space for writing. As a Christian, she undertook much work for faith organisations, but not exclusively so!

In 2014 Cathy returned to Jersey and worked full time as a broadcaster - a presenter/producer for BBC Radio Jersey in the Channel Islands - presenting the Sunday morning Breakfast (faith) Show, the Afternoon Show and latterly a couple of years spent as the Communities Producer.

In 2021 Cathy returned to her freelance 'portfolio' lifestyle to work as a writer/author, broadcaster and PR/communications manager based in Jersey in the Channel Islands.

Look out for Cathy's next book ... coming in 2022.
