Gwendolyn Marshall

Gwendolyn Marshall grew up in St. Louis, MO. She received her PhD from Wisconsin and is now an Associate Professor of philosophy at Florida International University, in Miami, where she teaches the history of modern philosophy. He favorite topics are Spinoza and the Enlightenment, feminist history of philosophy, and philosophy and science fiction. Before moving to FIU in July of 2014, she taught at Wellesley College and Dartmouth College.

She has two sons. Her other interests include running; science fiction and fantasy; geek culture; left politics; coffee; punk rock; role-playing, board, and video games, including D&D. She is a pansexual, transgender woman.
