Tim Vernier

Tim (T.E.) Vernier writes detective novels and children’s books from his home in the Driftless Region of Wisconsin. Tim’s background includes teaching college English, working as an innovation consultant in the auto industry, and training customer service. Today he writes, works on classic muscle cars, and sells old auto parts and other collectible items online. In addition, he is a public speaker on compassion, in which he feels everyone has a story to tell. Tim’s inspiration comes from local color and characters, and from stories that were always meant to be told. Tim and his spouse Denise live in Tomah, Wisconsin with their two dogs, a Cairn Terrier named Makeup, and a Standard Poodle named Maybelline (Lena). Tim and Denise enjoy travel, biking, cooking, and gardening.
