Born in December, 1942 at Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir State, educated from the University of Jammu & Kashmir, Degree Engineering with Honors Grade from Annamalai University South India in 1963, served J&K Government PWD till 2003 and retired as Chief Engineer, Past Chairman and The Institution of Engineers (India) J&K State Center, Past Council Member The Institution of Engineers (India),Consultant Engineer, Chartered Engineer India (CEng'I'), Fellow Institution of Engineers India (FIE), Member Indian Road Congress (MIRC), Member American Society of Civil Engineers(MASCE), Member World Federation of Engineers Organization (WFEO), Member Board of Governors SSM College of Engineering Parihaspora J&K UT, Member Governing Body Institute of Arabic and Islamic Studies Soura Srinagar, Authored over 50 books, Presented over 100 papers in seminars, presented over 300 manuscripts and centuries old books from his ancestrsl library to the Allama Iqbal Library University of Kashmir, donated over 500 technical books, magazines from his personal library to SSM College of Engineering Parihaspora, Freelance writer. Traveled in India and abroad.
