Ethan Nahté) has been a professional musician, journalist, photographer, and copywriter. He has worn many hats in the TV/Film industry over the years, with his work appearing on The Discovery Channel, Fox News, ABC News, MTV, Much Music, USA Network, and more. He is currently the editor at The Mena Star and Ouachita Trading Post, assists with editing The De Queen Bee, and is former editor of The Polk County Pulse. He also supplies news for KENA 104.1 FM and 105.3-The Mountain.
Nahté has written fiction since his teens but took an extended break while he focused on journalism and his work in TV & Film. He once again became interested, testing the waters by entering the John L. Balderston writing competition, which was based on the VAN HELSING film. Nahté was a 1st place winner with his story "Dr. Frankenstein's Van Helsing."
Since then, Nahté has gone on to write several stories for a variety of publishers, as well as some poetry, with approximately traditionally published works. He was awarded an honorable mention from the National Space Society of North Texas for his poem "Refuge Upon Mars." He is also a three-time Honorable Mention recipient in the Writers of the Future Contest.
Nahté is the author of two short story collections, two novellas, and a novelette. He is the editor of the anthology ISLAND TERRORS & SEA HORRORS, released through his own Beagle Mountain Press.
