Norma Klefstad Connor is Scandinavian through and through. Her Norwegian father and Danish mother met and married in Chicago, producing five children, Norma being 2nd in the pecking order. A baby sister finally arrived, but three brothers produced enough testosterone that she chose to escape to CO, where she met an adventurer from Arkansas, her husband, Jim. He became a Navy bomb diver, and brought his wife and baby son to Hawaii where his many risky, dangerous missions were the basis of Norma's first published works.
Her first novel, "Dreamspeak", was followed by "Cabin Stories--an Arkansas Memoir" and last a collection of short stories, "Alone". Writing is always on the front burner. She lives in Illinois and Arizona with Jim.
