Belle Frank is Executive Vice President, Global Director of Strategy & Research, Y&R. She directs communications strategies for the agency and co-manages the Brand Planning Department and teaches Awareness, Measurement and Research as part of the CCNY masters degree in Branding & Integrated Communications.
Belle has worked with all the Y&R proprietary strategic tools and is responsible for agency perspectives on key brand, consumer and communication development and measurement issues. Beginning in 1993, Belle was part of the small team assigned to develop Y&R’sBrandAsset® Valuator (BAV) model.
Belle is the author of The Advertising On-Ramp (Paramount Books), a readable practical guide for young people entering the business. She co-authored “Reinventing Qualitative Research”, published in the February, 2007 issue of Admap. She received an Advertising Women of New York, Trailblazing Working Mother of the Year award.
Belle has a BA in French from Tufts and holds a Master’s from the Harvard School of Education where she studied human development and the effects of communication. She is married to James A. Frank and the mother of two grown children.
