Andrew Keller Estes

Andrew Keller Estes was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1978 but grew up around Nashville. He was educated at the University of Georgia and Johns Hopkins University. He received his PhD from the LMU Munich where he now teaches. He is also a lecturer at the Officer's School of the German Air Force. His fields of interest are American literature and cultural studies, environmental criticism, and mobility studies. His first book, Cormac McCarthy and the Writing of American Spaces, is a reworked version of his doctoral thesis. His current project addresses the art of walking.
