Louis A. Ruprecht Jr

Louis A. Ruprecht Jr. was born in Elizabeth, NJ, and currently reside sin Atlanta, GA. He studied Physics and Comparative Religion at Duke University, then received his PhD in the Graduate Division of Religion at Emory University. He has taught at a number of American universities--including the Claremont Graduate University, Columbia, Duke, Emory, Mercer, and Princeton--as well as the Ionian University in Corfu, Greece. He publishes on a wide variety of topics including Greek history and culture, comparative religion, religion and art, sexuality and psychology, ethics and politics. He is the inaugural holder of the William M. Suttles Chair in Religious Studies at Georgia State University, as well as a Research Fellow at the Vatican Library and the Vatican's Secret Archives.
